BCSIR provides the following services:

· Preparation of indelible ink for all national and local body elections.

· Back up services to the local entrepreneurs who have set up industries in commercial and semi commercial production using processes developed in BCSIR.

· Advisory service to BSTI in standardization of chemicals, petroleum products, electrical goods, food, food products, analytical methodologies, etc.

· Supervision of research undertaken by M. Sc., M. Phil. and Ph. D. students of different universities.

· Training on biogas, solar drying, improved chula, technologies for extraction of oil and dehulling of pulses.

· Designing and fabrication of safety vault, machine, equipment etc.

· Consultancy service on Scientific & Technological problems towards Government and Non-government Organizations.

· Solution of sponsored problems.

· Repairing of small scientific instruments .
